Exam mode
Timed practice papers arrive with accounts, which aren’t open yet. Here is what you’ll be able to do. In the meantime, the question bank is free to use.
What Exam mode does
Choose your paper
Pick an exam and a paper at its usual length, or Half, Quarter or your own. Take the standard time, 25% less or 25% more, or set your own, up to 10 hours. Questions you’ve done are left out where there are enough new ones.
A clock you can pause
A countdown with a warning at five minutes and at one. Pause whenever you need to: the questions hide until you carry on.
Save and come back
Leave part-way through and carry on later with your answers and the same time left. The clock stops while you’re away, and a saved exam waits for up to 30 days.
See what caught you out
Your score, your accuracy by topic, reasoning type and difficulty, and every question with a worked solution. Your progress page follows every attempt.
Results by email
Your score, percentage and what to practise next, sent when you finish. Untick it if you’d rather not.
Print it
Every exam prints as a paper with a separate answer sheet, for practice away from the screen.
